Republicans probably can’t remake the health insurance system, but they can reform it by allowing insurers more freedom and giving consumers more choices.

A Gaetz confirmation will be a distraction and constant headache for Donald Trump and the country. Better to lose this short-term battle now so Trump can win the long-term war. 

There will be no peace in the Middle East until the Iranian menace is addressed. Trump has long campaigned on draining the Washington swamp. He still needs to do that. But he, perhaps with the aid or Europe and Israel, also needs to drain the swamp in Iran.

Election fraud does occur, but be careful about attributing to conspiracy what can just as easily be attributed to incompetence or stupidity. 

According to a Gallup poll many Americans say, "no." 

The government could significantly downsize if Trump, through Musk’s efficiency efforts, were to eliminate unneeded agencies and employees, combine agencies where duties and responsibilities overlap and slash regulations and red tape, something Trump did in his first term and promises to do again.

Politicians like to claim they will save taxpayer money by reducing waste, fraud and abuse, but virtually no one ever does. And these days they don’t even try.

The problem we’re now facing is that the real Harris won’t stand up and identify herself until after the election.

Given the restrictions and uncertainty that comes with price controls, drug companies will be more cautious with their R&D spending, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing.
