While third-party candidates don’t win presidential elections, they can change the debate and the results. Sometimes that works in favor of Democrats and sometimes Republicans. That could be the case again.

It is imperative that Biden take the public’s concerns about his mental health seriously. He may be in good physical shape for a man of 80 years, but Americans are more concerned about his mental state--especially since he is seeking an additional four years in the Oval Office.

The emergence of a viable third-party candidate is likely Trump's only path to victory in the general election. 

Given life expectancy averages, it is highly possible, perhaps even probable, that a Biden reelection victory would result in Kamala Harris becoming the first female president. 

Feel free to disregard all of the Democrats’ hypocritical warnings about the current threats to democracy. The nine justices of the U.S. Supreme Court operate in about as pure of a democracy as you can get

If the GOP is the racist party of exclusion that Biden and many Democrats claim, why do so many successful people of color belong to the GOP, eager to be the party’s face of the future?

Carefully investing taxpayer dollars to bring high-speed internet to unserved rural areas makes sense, but lighting taxpayer dollars on fire in a special-interest giveaway to build “networks to nowhere” does not. As always, the devil is in the details.

Republicans who claim the voting system can’t be trusted shouldn’t be surprised if many Republican-inclined voters don’t vote, and if Republicans lose elections as a result.

The biggest threat to U.S. democracy isn’t some state election laws, it’s the effort to create a much more powerful executive who can ignore the duly elected representatives of the people.

There is one primary cause of why they are reemerging today: Record levels of unchecked theft and crime that make stores not just unprofitable, but unsafe for employees and customers.
