A new proposal by Bahrain

First observation from the 2nd of WIPO's meetings on the development agenda (henceforth often referred to as IIM/2, in WIPO's nomenclature), is a proposal from Bahrain, which has been supported by Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

At first scan, it is strongly in support of intellectual property and WIPO's existing mission, and is a counterpoint to the Friends of Development proposal. So, for those of us who support IP, this is a positive step. More details later.
