IPI is gearing up for one of our favorite annual events, our eighth celebration of World Intellectual Property Day.
The event this year takes place Thursday, April 25 on Capitol Hill at Washington DC’s ROA Building from 10 am to 1 pm.
Intellectual property (IP) —the driver and economic cornerstone of the U.S. economy—is under attack on a global scale. At this forum, hear exclusive insight from IP insiders and creators and learn the latest issues facing IP and innovation.
Confirmed speakers as of today include Stan McCoy, Assistant U.S. Trade Representative for Intellectual Property and Innovation at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative; Richard Epstein of the New York University Law School; James Pooley, Deputy Director General for Patents at the World Intellectual Property Organization; and Mark Schultz, Co-Director of Academic Programs, at George Mason University’s Center for the Protection of Intellectual Property (CPIP.)
